Condition: Chemically Peeled Skin
Treatments using chemical peels such as alpha hydroxy acids are quite popular. The danger lies not in the chemical applied but in the exposure to the environment. Make sure you take a Total Oxidation Management approach and careful precautions in the days and weeks following the peel.

The Wellness Solution
It is imperative that following the procedure Total Oxidation Management should come into play. The vulnerability of the skin after such a procedure is dangerous. Sun exposure, cigarettes, pollution, and chemical oxidizers are all dangerous to that recently peeled skin and will lead to free radical damage that will become more visible in months or years.
Remain "In the Mode" covered at all times with EC Mode Vitamin C Serum and EC Mode Hydro-Driver following a peel. If a doctor has recommended an ointment to prevent infection, use the Vitamin C under the ointment and the Hydro-Driver on top of the ointment. Once the ointment is no longer used, continue to use the Vitamin C Serum and Hydro-Driver at all times, even when you feel the skin is fully healed. Additionally, a sunscreen indicating an SPF 15 such as EC Mode Silk Sunscreen should be used on top of the vitamins anytime the skin is exposed to the sun.
