Condition:
Skin Cancer & Skin Growths

The incidence of melanoma is rising faster than any other type of cancer. More than 51,000 new cases of invasive melanoma were expected in the U.S. in 2003, according to the University of Texas, M. D. Anderson Cancer Center.

Oxidative free radicals can lead to the formation of cancer. Cancer can occur when free radicals form in cellular molecules in such large numbers that the DNA is actually affected. If the free radicals are allowed to continue to multiply within cells, the cancer can often spread or metastasize either deeper and in other regions of the body.

Types of Skin Cancer

Researchers have separated skin cancer into seven different categories:

The Wellness Solution

After consulting with your doctor, be certain that you cannot reverse the condition and normalize it with a Total Oxidation Management approach before having it removed. Most doctors will give it four weeks before they feel a serious need to remove it. As soon as you witness a growth, no matter the size or the shape, immediately attack it with Vitamin C and Vitamin E.

If it is determined the growth is serious enough to have removed, you now have a "window" for Ultra Violet light to get in and transform healthy cellular molecules into free radicals. Once it's removed, there is no way for the skin to block even short exposure to the sun. "Pull the shades" on that area by keeping that spot "In the Mode;" that is, cover it with a layer Vitamin C and Vitamin E. If you are going to be outside for a significant amount of time, include a SPF 15 sunscreen.

Caution: Total Oxidation Management of Tumors May Surprise You

When tumors begin to develop inside the body, many of the principles of Total Oxidation Management shift. While antioxidants such as Vitamin C are very important in the management of oxidation, once a tumor begins to grow, Vitamin C has been found to help protect the tumor.
Vitamin C is found in the highest concentrations around newly developing cells, such as seeds or fetuses. It appears that Vitamin C recognizes a tumor as a newly developing cell and surrounds the cell to protect it and allow it to grow.

This is the reason so many medical professionals warn patients to avoid internal supplements of Vitamin C and excess fruits and vegetables prior to radiation therapy. Just as Vitamin C can protect the skin from sunlight radiation, Vitamin C can protect a tumor from the radiation therapy designed to destroy the tumor.
